Wrinkle Reduction Laser Treatment
‘Turn back the clock’
Wrinkle reduction laser treatments are more comfortable and effective than ever before thanks to advancements in laser technology.
Focused laser treatments can rejuvenate your skin and bring back the confidence you had 10 years ago.
About Wrinkle Reduction Laser Treatment:
Lines and wrinkles thought to be a natural part of life. When you age, the collagen and elastin in your skin breaks down – meaning the smooth and supple skin of youth gradually becomes saggy and fragile.
Most treatments aimed at reducing the appearance of lines and wrinkles either use cosmetic surgery or the consistent use of lotions and moisturisers.
Now modern laser treatments have been scientifically proven to reverse the appearance of ageing and restore your skin’s natural beauty.
Do laser skin treatments really work?
Yes! Of course there are different types of lasers and variation in the practitioner’s level of skill so not all treatments are created equal.
At Laser + Holistic Aesthetics we use a range of modern lasers that have been scientifically proven to stimulate your skin to rejuvenate the collagen and elastin proteins. These lasers use photoacoustic technology instead of a purely thermal energy, meaning we can control which types of laser energy are absorbed at different skin layers. As a result the laser treatments are more effective and deliver longer lasting results than old laser technology.
What does a laser treatment feel like?
The sensation of a laser treatment will depend on the procedure. In the case of wrinkle reduction laser treatments, the method is similar to skin resurfacing treatments.
No anaesthetic is needed for the vast majority of patients so it is safe to say that laser skin resurfacing is more comfortable than many other methods. Most patients describe the feeling as warm, where they can feel the laser energy heating the skin which then creates a subtle tightening effect.
Once the treatment is over – the sensation is similar to a mild sunburn for a few days. Expect a little redness and swelling, along with a feeling of tightness in the skin.
